We are so proud of our 2024 HW FOTA Scholarship Recipients: Eugene Ahn who will attend Bucknell University, Jake Bassinger who will attend New York University, and Luke Lasquade who will attend Berklee College of Music. Congratulations to Julia Bial, HWRHS rising senior, and Taylor Aptt, HWRHS rising junior, who were awarded full tuition grants to attend Montserrat’s 3 week Pre-College program this past summer. Funding is made possible through FOTA's partnership with the Katherine Bradford Foundation and Montserrat College of Art.
The Pre-College program at Montserrat College of Art provides an intensive introduction to the life and expectations at an art college while enhancing students' portfolios for art college. Students receive rigorous visual art instruction and time to cultivate their foundation drawing skills, as well as discover new subjects and mediums through elective offerings. We are so happy to be able to support Julia and Taylor!
