We did it!

THANK YOU for participating in the 27th Annual Melody Miles Road Race! A few fun facts:

  • This year we had 293 registrants; that’s 120 more than last year!

  • Our oldest runner was 81, and the youngest was 4.

  • We raised over 11k in sponsorships, and when all is said and done we expect our net revenue to be around 16k. That makes this our most profitable race to date, and we are thrilled to be able to give it back to the schools as we fund future grants!

  • In other news a BIG SHOUT OUT TO Cutler Elementary School which had the biggest school team registered! In 2nd place was Winthrop, and Miles River Middle School came in 3rd. We loved seeing representation from all of the schools and even had a new team in the HW Mother’s Club this year

Thanks so much for all of your support!

Melody Miles is here!

While online registration is closed, you can still register two ways:

  1. Come by the New England Running Company (43 Enon Street in North Beverly) on Friday, May 26th between 12pm - 6pm to register, pick up your bib number, AND be entered into a raffle to win a free pair of sneakers (up to a $150) from New England Running Co!

  2. In person registration begins at 9:00 a.m. at the Winthrop School on Saturday.

We look forward to seeing you!

Join us in running Melody Miles this year, and help keep the arts vibrant in Hamilton-Wenham!

Did you know that the HW Friends of the Arts has been supporting the arts in our district for over 27 years? Educators are invited to submit grant proposals which bring visual art, theater, and music into the classroom. Melody Miles is our annual fundraiser and allows us to support our teachers as they look to do big things.
